Life and Her

In my moment of madness, in my moments of peace,
In my moments of passion, in my moments of grief,
I see you, I see you smile.
Down here, up there,
Far, near.
I sense you around, I feel you surround.
Feeling engulfed, by the aura of your touch.
Being awed,
By your beauty, by your eyes, by your smile
I give up, surrender, yield, capitulate.

With you dreams are for real,
With you every moment so surreal.
… I close my eyes
I see the stars, I see the moon,
I see you.
Am I sleeping? Am I dreaming?
Am I high? Am I addicted?
Do I really care?

The words don’t come, but love seethes,
As I float, waft, swirl like the autumn leaves.
Your beauty transcends what surrounds me
Your touch gives warmth to all that’s around me.

You are irresistible, you are mystical,
Your hot, you are cold.
You are shy you are bold.
You are the morning you are the night.
You are the air water that makes me survive.
